Emanuele Resce

World is a House of Departures

May 23  – June 27, 2026

Developed between Istanbul, Casalbore, and Berlin, Emanuele Resce’s research formed the basis of his solo exhibition World is a House of Departures. Curated by Eleonore Varone and James Verhille, the exhibition was presented at gr_und in Berlin from May 23 to June 27, 2026.

Drawing on layered personal and cultural references, the works brought past and present into dialogue, shaping an imaginary landscape of hybrid forms and shifting identities. Through a rich interplay of symbols, materials, and heterogeneous references, Resce constructed a visual universe in which time continuously fragments and reassembles, inviting viewers to inhabit a space where departures, returns, and shared memories converge.
